Golden View Eggs is a husband (Rich) and wife (Robyn) run operation. Our farm is situated in one of the most productive and beautiful places in South Gippsland.

The hens follow behind our beef cows and calves in a mobile trailer guarded by "Solo" our Marema dog.

Our farming philosophy is that the hens become part of our fertilizer application. They will build up the humus in the soil by turning over the cow manure and eat bugs and insect naturally available to them. We believe that this will be a stainable and healthier eco system for our farming practise.

We have always looked after our land and our animals, whilst paying attention to their well being and health.

Golden View hens have access to grass at all times and graze paddocks like our cattle. They also have access to grain that contains no meat meal or hormones.

Our cattle and poultry have access to kelp and minerals at all times. This enhances their immune system and eliminates stress on their body.

We also make our own culture of yeast; this is a great source of the natural occurring B-Vitamins which provides enzymes to enhance the utilization of energy, fibre, fats and minerals. This is mixed into a mash with bran and fed every morning.

We take pride in the presentation and taste of our eggs. To ensure the highest quality each egg is individually buffed by hand, no water or chemicals are used to clean our eggs. They are then held over a light (candling) to make sure there are no blood spots or imperfections present.

Please enjoy our eggs, appreciate their taste and quality whilst knowing that they are laid by hens that are free to roam and enjoy what nature has to offer.
