Long Marriages
Some people ask the secret of our long marriage. We take time to go to a restaurant two times a week. A little candlelight, dinner, soft music and dancing. She goes Tuesdays, I go Fridays.
Five Tips For A Woman
1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job.
2. It is important that a man makes you laugh.
3. It is important to find a man you can count on and doesn't lie to you.
4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you, and
5. It is really important that these four men don't know each other.
General Notices
Membership Fees & Name Tags
Despite several reminders, there are still a large number of members who haven't paid their 2011-12 Membership Fees. If there is no name tag for you in the foyer then it means that you haven't paid your 2011-12 membership fees. If this is so, please pay your dues now.
Heavenly Clocks
A man died and went to Heaven. As he stood in front of the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, 'What are all those clocks for?'
St. Peter answered, 'Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone who has ever been on earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock move.'
'Oh I see', said the man. 'Whose clock is that?'
'That's Mother Teresa's', replied St. Peter. 'The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.'
'Incredible', said the man. 'And whose clock is that one?'
St. Peter responded, 'That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abraham told only two lies in his entire life.'
'Which one is Julia Gillard's clock?' asked the man.
"Ah." St Peter replied, 'We took that one off the wall a year ago. It's being used as a ceiling fan in the refectory.'
